Even though I've been seventeen for almost a year, and able to apparate near a long, it still felt very strange not to have any family waiting for me on Platform 9¾ yesterday.

Oh well.  Home Sweet Arundel, now, at least.

Actually, well, I think I'll be okay on all by Herbology and Potions- but that's nothing new.  Thankfully, Herbology is only a written exam this time around.  But a Potions practical may well be the death of me.

Sorry, everyone.  I didn't mean to-  Madam Pomfrey says I should stay here for the rest of the day.  Well, she wrote that down on a piece of parchment in really big letters and gave it to me, at least.  She might have said it, too, but I still can't hear anything.

I'm going to miss Charms and Potions and probably Astronomy, too.  Edgar, can I borrow your notes for Charms?  And yours for Astronomy, Alice?  Please?  I think I'll have to go to Professor Slughorn about what I'll miss in class today, since no amount of note-copying will help.
